Endodontics Treatment

Decays are one of the most common diseases faced by dentists among 85-90% of Turkish people. Patients realize their decays when their tooth is broken out, when they feel sensitive to hot and cold besides sweet nutrition, when they have pieces among teeth after meals or pains during eating, especially during the night times and when they wake up with a swollen face in the morning.

Differences in temperatures – food pieces – sensitivity to sweets indicate simple and middle-sized decays, but decays with over sensitivity and night time pains with swollen face indicate a much worse decay or a heavy dental disease.

Findings of Decays
They are diagnosed by;
1. Right evaluation of patient examination and their complaints
2. Radiological findings
And simple decays can be treated by fillings.

Heavy decays are generally saved by root canal treatments (root end infection if seen in radiological diagnosis). In some patients, root canal and root end surgery is quite helpful in cases where root end infection is not treated by root canal treatment.

In recent years, research shows that amalgam, mercury, silver and heavy metals used in fillings may result in damages to patients. Therefore, latest findings are most commonly used in order to prevent patients from toxical poisoning and for aesthetical materials.
Besides, RVG canal endoscopy including minimum dose and beam and state of the art canal treatment tools are used in canal fillings.
