IMPORTANCE OF FLUORINE AND CALCIUM USED IN INFANCY
Importance of fluorine and calcium in nutrition of children until 12 ages and in infants and accurate nutrition are of high significance. Each mother desires to bring up her child in the best way. Enabling accurate nutrition and their being healthy depend on awareness level of mother and relationship of mother maintained with paediatric doctor. Fluorine, phosphor and calcium balances in meals affect not only bone structures but also teeth structures. Shortage or excess of fluorine, phosphor, calcium and minerals can directly affect teeth. In shortages of these elements, it may cause quick decaying of milk and permanent teeth and teeth loss. Excessive usage may cause colorations in teeth and late alignment milk teeth and eruption of permanent teeth from different locations. These cases entail unexpected orthodontic treatments. Decays formed in little usage and loss of early teeth entails orthodontic treatment of permanent teeth erupted from false location and erupted late in excessive usage. Controls and planned treatments of paediatric dentist in 4-12 age group and balanced nutrition follow-ups of paediatric dentist shall diminish these risks and proper healthy teeth shall be created.
